Since starting Ladybird Likes back in February 2012, I've taught myself all the skills I need to know about running my own business, from photography to taxes, and everything inbetween! Starting up and running a business has been the steepest learning curve, and along the way I constantly found myself wishing I had someone with more experience to ask for help or guidance, so this is what I am now offering to others who are in the same situation I was in! Whether you want to set up your own business but aren't sure how to do it, or if you already have your own business but want to give it a kick up the butt, I'd love to lend a hand and help you get to where you want to be!
I regularly give talks on various aspects of running your own business, and can be booked for private or public events. I am also very excited to offer one to one business mentoring via Skype. This is ideal if you have specific questions or topics you'd like to discuss in depth. I am able to offer personalised feedback on your business, and help you to create a business plan and stick to it! Whether you just want a one off session to get a few pointers on product photography, or whether you want to book a course of sessions each covering a new topic, I can work with you to help you get your business where you want it to be.
Let me start by saying that I don't claim to know everything about everything. I don't have a degree in business management. I figured this all out on my own, by going out there and trying things, learning what worked and what didn't. This means that I've been there, done that, and got the extremely tacky souvenir t-shirt. I've been running Ladybird Likes single-handedly since February 2012, and along the way I've taught myself everything from product photography, to HTML, to accounting, and everything inbetween. I was able to leave my job in December 2012 to work on Ladybird Likes full-time.

Firstly please get in touch via email at email@example.com so we can discuss specific details such as when the event is, where it is being held, and what topic/topics you'd like me to speak on.
I've just recently started offering one to one mentoring due to receiving large numbers of emails asking specific questions about setting up and running a business. Time is always in short supply, so unfortunately I'm not able to reply to each one individually, especially as many of the emails require very lengthy replies to answer them sufficiently. I am now offering one to one mentoring where people can talk to me directly via Skype, and ask any questions they might have and get personalised feedback on your website/blog/business.
